How to Clean Glass Oven Door

The glass inside the oven door can get very dirty, food and grease will burn and stick to it. In my years of cleaning houses professionally I’ve found a very fast and easy way to clean it with amazing results

1- Scrub with a powder cleaner like Ajax or Comet

2- Scrape the burnt residue with a scraper blade

3- Wipe and dry with a microfiber cloth

Here is the step by step with pictures:

1- Apply powder cleaner directly to glass; I recommend Ajax or Comet but whatever you have works fine.

2- Scrub the glass using a wet non-scratching scouring pad, use just enough water to make it foam, this will clean and polish the glass without scratches

3- Scrape the grease off of the glass using a scraping blade, glass must be wet! Wipe away the soap and while glass is still wet scrape all burnt residue, be gentle, at this point it should be soft and easy to remove. As long as the glass is wet this will not scratch it

4- Wipe residue and dry completely. Using a damp microfiber cloth wipe away all residue, fold it in four and use all sides, then dry with a dry microfiber cloth
